Red Light, Blue Light

Slowly descend into the depths of a Tahoe blue hour with me. With so many shifts happening recently, I needed a minute and place to reflect. Reflect light onto my camera sensor a whole bunch of times, that is. And to reflect on new chapters. A twenty-four-hour escape to Lake Tahoe on the northern shore was just the place for the job.

I found many joys on this quick trip, including this playground of weathered rock so pleasing to the eye. It reminded me of trips to Acadia National Park growing up in Maine. I had this cove to myself and watched the colors of the sky shift from red to a deep blue hour. To every lovely person who has been a support to me in these past few weeks as I pursue new paths, thank you for being true-blue. These photos are a thank you to all of you. Follow along on this sunset, and I hope it brings a moment of peace to you as it has for me.
